AD & AE Series Dehumidifyers

Series AD & AE.
Adsorption Dryers for Dehumidifying Atmospheric Air.
The Drymaster AD & AE Series are constructed utilising a special Molecular Sieve material to obtain low dew point air even with very low inlet air temperatures. The differences are that the AD series uses Steam, Hot gas or Hot Oil for regeneration whereas the AE Series uses electrical heating elements. K2-3 Drymaster AE
The AD & AE Series of machines are constructed using 4 vessels of which 2 are in the adsorbsion phase whereas the 2 remaining are in the cooling and regeneration phase. By this principle the patented design reduces the power consumption to an exceptionally low level with unsurpassed reliability over many years of operation.
The AD & AE Series of machines use a powder coated surface where all parts are efficiently protected against exterior corrosion. Internal parts are constructed in stainless steel to ensure no corrosion takes place. Moving parts are reduced to two permanently connected disc valves manufactured with special seals to prevent failure in operation. The valves are turned by a directly coupled gear motor and distribute the air into the four adsorber vessels. The valves are turned ¼ of a revolution approximately every 15 minutes.
The AE Series is provided with a complete control package that includes a full security and monitoring package. An electronic PLC controls both the valve operation and regeneration set to allow operation with the various processes used in regeneration. An optional capacity control system can be supplied to operate from an external sensing source such as Dew point monitoring or a humidity stat.
Both the AD & AE Series of machines are constructed on a purpose designed floor frame to suit individual applications. Fan, Filters and duct connections are also designed specifically for the final installation and are not supplied as standard. (Full Cabinet Enclosed versions for HVAC installations are available to suit customer’s specific designs and requirements)
